We weren’t certain prior to coming if we would have the whole place to ourselves because we knew there were other rooms, however, it is private, if you book just one room you have the island to yourself.
Island hoppers attended the island to sunbathe for 3 hours one day, which seems to be an arrangement that they have with nearby hotels etc, this isn’t really an issue however as there is plenty of space for it to still feel private, although definitely better when the island hoppers are not there. The staff are amazing! Nothing too much trouble, very attentive. Food is top class. Communication and pick up very easy. Overall, top class gem, real privilege to have had the chance to stay. THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE, the best we had in Philippines - best pancakes ever had, amazing fish, pasta (and we are Italians!!), vegetables…. Everything was perfect and way better than expected.   Beautiful and peaceful island! My parents enjoyed massages by the beach. My son collected an army of hermit crabs found along the sand and enjoyed kayaking by the sea. My... read more son has also been very picky during our trip and would only eat sinigang - Evelin and Sonny went out of their way to pick up all the necessary ingredients so Chef Brian can make it for us on the island. Each meal they prepared for us was delicious! Us non-singers very much enjoyed singing kareoke after dinner. The staff at the island made us feel very welcome and took good care of us during our short stay.

They only had water and beer to drink on the island, so keep that in mind so you can pick up your preferred nourishments along the way. The island runs on solar energy during the day and the caretakers would have to turn on the generator to run the AC at night. Also keep in mind to conserve the water as they come from water tanks which they have to get from the main island. It’s such a memorable experience! Thanks

An improvement that could be made... The only alcoholic beverage offered on the island is beer... I'm not a beer drinker so a couple of other simple options would have been great.
