A really nice hidden gem

The kids saw an array of marine life on the gorgeous thriving coral reef around the island. Honestly would come again and recommend to anyone !! 5 stars from us. Also all staff are beautiful souls xxx

  The island was great and exactly as described. The contact with Pamela was quick and friendly. The team on the island was very nice and went out of their way... read more to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! Here are a few things that were not quite clear to me beforehand.
- Pamela only takes one booking at a time. There would be space on the island for about 10 - 12 guests in total.
- Several employees are permanently on the island and are at your disposal
- there is a great cook who is on the island the whole time and prepares all the food that has been provided by him in advance. however, you should communicate allergies or certain dietary habits in advance)
- Drinks are available on the island (for a fee) (e.g. Php 30 for 0.5 l of water)
- The house does not have a kitchen or refrigerator
- Wifi and electricity (solar during the day, generator in the evening) available
- there are a few unclosable lattice windows where mosquitoes can get through. We had a lot of mosquitoes in the house.

The culinary experience was exceptional. The chef made an impressive effort to cater to our specific food requests, accommodating all our dietary needs with ease. His creativity and attention to detail ensured that every dish was not only a culinary delight but also aligned perfectly with our preferences.

  Rock Island is an amazing and authentic place, perfect for a quiet getaway. Island hopping was a highlight - no other people, just stunning beaches and nature. We had fantastic snorkeling experiences, and we were very lucky to see both dugongs and dolphins. The kids loved the beach, kayaking, fishing, and the thoughtful touches like beach toys and candy bought specifically for them. Ook kun je naar het vaste land om vanaf daar island-hopping te doen. Het eiland zelf was fantastisch qua verblijf, het strand was prachtig en het personeel was buitengewoon goed.
