The island itself is a piece of heaven... opening the door of our guest house would reviel a perfect beach setting with no noise except the sound of waves on the beach and birds in the trees. I have never been to a more magical and peaceful place than this one. I am a diver and love snorkling and free diving... if you head out to the edge of the shallows where the depth drops there are amazing coral blooms and sea life. We stayed for... read more 3 nights and we absolutely intend to come back and stay for even longer next time. Such an amazing experience to have an island to yourself with a beautiful beach and reef for snorkelling. The food was also excellent! Very yummy at every meal!
Pamela was also an excellent host, very responsive when I had a question from booking to the stay, and also let us know additional things on offer such as boat trips, though we enjoyed just having peace and time to chill on the beach.
We had a lovely beach dinner on our last night with videoke, it was so much fun.

You’ll have an extraordinary experience to have a beautiful island to yourself - with support from accommodating staff. Fresh seafood prepared to your taste. Super reasonably priced drinks - at 90 PHP for a can of beer. And of course the white sand and clear water - and karaoke and volleyball and more.

You should understand that you may not have everything you would expect at a larger resort, but there’s a lot more that you can only find here. Feeling at home and being the only guest party - it’s something really special and we enjoyed it. We were of 2 adults and 2 teenagers and 2 small kids. One of the small kids is on a wheelchair but it was manageable with help from the staff.

Highly recommended - if you’re looking for an experience a bit different!

  The island was great and exactly as described. The contact with Pamela was quick and friendly. The team on the island was very nice and went out of their way... read more to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! Here are a few things that were not quite clear to me beforehand.
- Pamela only takes one booking at a time. There would be space on the island for about 10 - 12 guests in total.
- Several employees are permanently on the island and are at your disposal
- there is a great cook who is on the island the whole time and prepares all the food that has been provided by him in advance. however, you should communicate allergies or certain dietary habits in advance)
- Drinks are available on the island (for a fee) (e.g. Php 30 for 0.5 l of water)
- The house does not have a kitchen or refrigerator
- Wifi and electricity (solar during the day, generator in the evening) available
- there are a few unclosable lattice windows where mosquitoes can get through. We had a lot of mosquitoes in the house.
